CompositionRivamer 1.5 Capsule is used to help manage the symptoms of mild to moderate dementia in Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, which may help with memory, thinking and daily activities.
It contains rivastigmine, a cholinesterase inhibitor. It works by raising the level of acetylcholine, a brain chemical involved in memory and thinking.
Take it with food as prescribed, at the same times each day. It does not cure dementia but helps manage symptoms, so continue it long term.
Tell your doctor about any heart-rhythm problems, stomach ulcers, asthma or fits before use. Report a slow heartbeat, fainting, or severe or ongoing vomiting.
