Rosave A 75 Capsule is used for the following:

• Preventing serious cardiovascular events in high-risk individuals

• Stopping heart attacks in patients with a high risk of heart disease

• Halting strokes in people with an elevated risk of stroke

• Assisting in the prevention of blood clots

• Lowering "bad" LDL cholesterol levels

• Boosting "good" HDL cholesterol levels

• Assisting in the management of hyperlipidemia along with diet and lifestyle modifications

To correctly take Rosave A 75 Capsule, follow these instructions:

• Swallow one capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the capsule.

• Continue taking the medicine as prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel well.

• Remember, do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Rosave A 75 Capsule is taken orally.

Rosave A 75 Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): As a member of the statin family of lipid-lowering medicines, rosuvastatin inhibits an enzyme in your body called HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme plays a major role in forming cholesterol inside your body. When the activity of HMG-CoA reductase is blocked, rosuvastatin effectively decreases the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver, leading to an increase in the uptake of LDL from your blood. This process reduces the level of LDL cholesterol in your bloodstream.

• Aspirin (75 mg): As an NSAID, aspirin irreversibly blocks an enzyme called cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) in your platelets. This enzyme contributes to the production of a substance called thromboxane A2, which helps platelets in your blood to stick together and form clots. By stopping the production of thromboxane A2, aspirin prevents these clots from forming and reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
