Rosulip 10 Tablet 15

Rosulip 10 Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It works by reducing cholesterol production in the liver, helping lower bad cholesterol levels and decreasing the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications.

• Swallow the tablet whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it.
• The tablet can be taken with or without food, although it is better to take it at a fixed time each day.
• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration of treatment.

Rosulip 10 Tablet is taken orally.

Rosulip 10 Tablet contains the following components:

• Rosuvastatin (10 MG) - It works by inhibiting an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in the liver. This enzyme plays a crucial role in the production of cholesterol in the body. By blocking this enzyme, rosuvastatin reduces the production of LDL cholesterol, often referred to as "bad cholesterol."  This leads to lower levels of LDL cholesterol in the bloodstream, reducing the risk of atherosclerosis (plaque buildup in arteries) and cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes. Additionally, rosuvastatin may increase the levels of HDL cholesterol, known as "good cholesterol," further promoting heart health. 

• Store this medication at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Keep it away from light and moisture.
• Keep the medication out of reach of children.
• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Consume a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.
• Limit saturated and trans fats found in fried foods, fatty cuts of meat, and processed snacks. Opt for low-fat dairy products.
• Choose healthy fats found in avocados, olive oil, and nuts.
• Limit dietary cholesterol intake by avoiding excessive consumption of organ meats, egg yolks, and high-cholesterol seafood like shrimp.
• Focus on lean protein sources such as skinless poultry, fish, and plant-based proteins like beans and tofu.
• Minimise your intake of sugary beverages, candies, and processed foods, as they can contribute to weight gain and negatively impact heart health.
• Incorporate high-fibre foods like oats, whole grains, legumes, and vegetables into your diet. Fibre can help lower cholesterol levels.
• Engage in regular physical activity, as it can help raise HDL ("good") cholesterol and lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol.
• If you smoke, consider quitting. Smoking can lower HDL ("good") cholesterol and damage blood vessels, increasing the risk of heart disease
