Rosumac Gold Forte 20 Capsule is used for the following:

• Lowering high cholesterol and triglyceride levels

• Boosting good cholesterol known as HDL

• Prevention of heart disease and strokes

• Managing hyperlipidaemia: This condition is characterised by abnormally high levels of lipids (fats) in the blood.

• Providing secondary protection after heart attacks, strokes, or peripheral arterial disease: This is a condition where blood vessels outside your heart and brain narrow, often due to fat deposits.

Here are the steps to follow while taking Rosumac Gold Forte 20 Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing, or opening the capsule.

• Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Rosumac Gold Forte 20 Capsule is taken orally.

Rosumac Gold Forte 20 Capsule contains three active ingredients which work together to provide comprehensive cardiovascular protection:

• Aspirin (150 mg): This component works by inhibiting the production of thromboxane A2. This is a substance in your body that encourages the formation of blood clots. By reducing its production, aspirin helps to prevent the formation of these clots.

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): This is another antiplatelet medication that functions by inhibiting the P2Y12 receptor on platelets. This prevents the platelets from sticking together to form a clot, reducing the risk of a heart attack or stroke.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): This is a statin that works by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your body, which is responsible for making cholesterol. By doing this, it helps to reduce the levels of "bad" cholesterol and triglycerides in your blood, while increasing the levels of "good" cholesterol.

• Store Rosumac Gold Forte 20 Capsule in a tightly sealed container.
