Rovor 2.5 Tablet is used for the following:

• Preventing stroke and systemic embolism in adults with non-valvular atrial fibrillation

• Managing deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in adults

• Preventing recurrent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in adults

• Reducing the risk of venous thromboembolism in adults undergoing elective hip or knee replacement surgery

• Preventing atherothrombotic events in adult patients with coronary artery disease or symptomatic peripheral artery disease at high risk of ischemic events, when used in combination with aspirin.

Here are the steps to follow while taking Rovor 2.5 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet as this may affect how well it works.

Rovor 2.5 Tablet is taken orally.

Rovor 2.5 Tablet contains rivaroxaban (2.5 mg) and works on the body as follows:

• Factor Xa Inhibition: Rivaroxaban is a highly selective inhibitor of factor Xa. By blocking this factor, it disrupts both the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways of the blood coagulation cascade, which are necessary for blood clot formation.

• Prevention of Thrombin Formation: By inhibiting factor Xa, rivaroxaban effectively stops the conversion of prothrombin into thrombin, a crucial step in the formation of blood clots.

• Antithrombotic Activity: Rivaroxaban does not require antithrombin III for its antithrombotic activity. This means that it can inhibit the blood coagulation cascade and prevent blood clots independently of other proteins in your blood.

• Keep Rovor 2.5 Tablet stored in its original packaging to protect it from moisture.

• The ideal storage temperature is room temperature, below 30°C.
