Roxithromycin works by stopping bacteria from producing the proteins they need to grow and multiply, which clears the infection and helps relieve associated symptoms in children with respiratory and other bacterial infections.
Give this suspension to your child using the measuring device provided, at the dose your doctor prescribes based on age and weight, usually before meals, and complete the full course even if your child feels better early.
tell your child's doctor if your child has liver disease or a heart rhythm problem. Report persistent loose motions (diarrhoea) or a rash developing during treatment.
