CompositionS-Numlo-5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and prevent chest pain (angina) in adults, with or without coronary artery disease. It is a single-ingredient calcium channel blocker containing S-amlodipine, the active form of amlodipine.
It relaxes and widens blood vessels, easing the strain on the heart. Take it at a regular time in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Blood pressure benefits build up over the first few weeks of consistent use.
Cut down on salt from pickles, papad and packaged snacks, stay active within your limits, limit alcohol and stop smoking.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver problems or heart failure, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take, including other heart medicines. Speak to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report troublesome swelling of the ankles or feet. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
