Saaz Ds Tablet 10

Saaz-DS Tablet is used to manage ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis and may also be used to manage Crohn's disease in adults, with regular blood monitoring required.

Uses of Saaz-DS Tablet are:

• Ulcerative Colitis: Reduces inflammation in the bowel to control symptoms.
• Crohn's Disease: May help manage bowel inflammation in Crohn's disease.
• Rheumatoid Arthritis: Used as a disease-modifying medicine to reduce joint inflammation.

• Saaz-Ds Tablet should be taken as your doctor recommends.
• Swallow it as a whole with water after your meal to avoid stomach discomfort.
• Do not cut, break or chew the medicine. 
• Take it at a fixed time for the best results. 

Saaz-Ds Tablet should be taken orally.

Saaz-Ds Tablet works by reducing colon inflammation in several ways. It acts by blocking the production of prostaglandins, compounds that cause inflammation. Also, it blocks the production of leukotrienes, other compounds that cause inflammation. 

Additionally, it can help by changing the balance of bacteria in the gut to reduce harmful bacteria and increase helpful ones. By reducing inflammation in the colon through these different ways, Saaz Ds 1000 can improve symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease.

• Store Saaz-Ds Tablet at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep this medicine away from children.
• Do not use Saaz Ds tablet after the expiry date has passed.

• Drink plenty of water to avert dehydration, especially if diarrhoea is a side effect of the drug.
• Alcohol can interact with Saaz-Ds Tablet and increase the risk of liver damage.
• To ensure proper nutritional intake, include a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and low-fat dairy products in your diet.
• Sulfasalazine may interfere with the absorption of specific vitamins, particularly folic acid. Patients may be advised to supplement their diet with additional folic acid or other vitamins as recommended by their healthcare provider.
• Regular physical activity is beneficial for your health and can help improve how you feel and manage symptoms of conditions like rheumatoid arthritis.
• Practising good hygiene, like washing your hands regularly and avoiding close contact with sick people, can increase the risk of infection.

• Take a Saaz-Ds Tablet with food to prevent stomach distress.
• This tablet may take 6 to 8 weeks to start working. Continue taking it as directed.
• While taking this medication, you must undergo routine blood tests to check your kidney, liver, and blood component levels.
• Without consulting your doctor, do not abruptly discontinue taking the drug.
• Saaz-Ds Tablet may enhance your skin's sensitivity to sunlight and cause your urine, tears, and contact lenses to turn yellow or orange. Nevertheless, this is harmless and nothing to worry about.
