Sacurise 50 Tablet 14

Sacurise 50 Tablet is used to treat chronic heart failure. It relaxes blood vessels, improves heart pumping ability, reduces fluid buildup, and lowers the risk of hospitalization and cardiovascular death.

Here are some general guidelines to follow when taking Sacurise 50 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Do not crush or chew the tablet

Sacurise 50 Tablet is taken orally.

Sacurise 50 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Sacubitril (24 mg): Sacubitril works by inhibiting an enzyme called neprilysin in your body. This enzyme is responsible for breaking down natriuretic peptides and other substances that widen blood vessels (vasodilate) and stimulate urine production (diuresis). By stopping neprilysin, sacubitril increases the levels of these substances leading to vasodilation, increased diuresis, reduced secretion of renin and aldosterone, and decreased activity of the sympathetic nervous system.
• Valsartan (26 mg): Valsartan blocks the action of a substance called angiotensin II at its receptors in various tissues including blood vessel muscle and adrenal gland. Angiotensin II typically causes blood vessels to narrow (vasoconstrict). By blocking its action, valsartan causes vasodilation, reduces secretion of vasopressin (a hormone that regulates water balance), and decreases production and secretion of aldosterone (a hormone that regulates salt and water balance), resulting in increased diuresis and natriuresis (excretion of sodium in the urine).

When combined, these two ingredients work together effectively to manage chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in adults.

• Store Sacurise 50 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.
• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from moisture.
• Don't expose it to direct sunlight or heat.
• Always keep it out of the sight and reach of children.
• Make sure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Since Sacurise 50 Tablet manages heart failure, it's beneficial for you to adopt a low-sodium diet. Excessive salt can worsen your heart condition by retaining fluid in your body.
• Regular physical activity can help manage your symptoms better. However, it's crucial that you consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regime. Light activities like walking or cycling are usually beneficial for heart patients but every case is unique.
