Salactin Paint 10Ml

Salactin Paint is used to dissolve thickened, hardened skin and remove warts, corns, and calluses.

Uses of Salactin Paint are:

• Wart Removal: Softens and gradually peels away common warts, plantar warts, and verrucas.
• Corn & Callus Treatment: Dissolves thick, hardened layers of dead skin on the feet and hands.
• Skin Regeneration: Helps reveal smoother, healthy skin after the affected skin peels away.

• Soak the affected part in warm water for 5 minutes. Dry with your own towel.
• Rub the softened surface carefully and gently using a pumice stone or manicure emery board, to be used only for this purpose.
• Apply Salactin Paint only on the affected skin region, avoiding the surrounding normal healthy skin with cotton wool. A second application should be done only after the first is dried. Wipe off any Salactin Paint spread on to the normal healthy skin with cotton wool.
• Application to the soles of the feet should be covered with adhesive plaster when dried.

Salactin Paint is applied topically (external application on the skin).

The components of Salactin Paint are as follows:

• Salicylic acid (16.7 %): It has the ability to stop the growth of bacteria (baceriostatic) and kill the fungi (fugicidal) while breaking down the outer layers of the skin and decreasing the thickness of the warts and calluses (keratolytic). This allows for the slow and painless destruction of the warts and corns.Thus, salicylic acid is effective for treating skin conditions that are located in the deeper layers of the skin, such as common warts, plantar and mosaic warts, corns, calluses, and verrucas.
• Lactic acid (16.7 %): It is an antiseptic and caustic agent. It increases the exposure of salicyclic acid to the skin, thereby enhancing its effect. 

• Make sure to always keep Salactin Paint bottle in an upright position.
• Temperature should not exceed 30 C.
• Should be stored in a dark place away from heat, burning flame and children.

• Avoid wearing tight-fitting shoes. Wear well-fitting, cushioned socks and shoes that are comfortable.
• Change your socks and shoes daily if you have a wart.
• Apply moisturising foot cream to soften and soothe the skin.
• Use a foot file or pumice stone to remove hard skin patches from your feet. Allow the pumice stone to dry thoroughly between each use.
• Always cover your feet in shared community places, such as locker rooms, dorms, and pools.
• Do not share towels, flannels, socks or shoes with other people if you have warts or veruccas to prevent the spread of infection.
• Regularly wash your hands, especially if you have been in contact with someone with warts.
• Avoid picking or scratching your warts.Do not bite your nails or suck fingers with warts on them.
• Keep your feet and hands dry.
• Cover wats and veruccas with a plaster when swimming.
• Take care not to cut a wart when shaving.
