CompositionSartel-20 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. As an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB), its active ingredient, telmisartan, works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, causing blood vessels to relax. This promotes free blood flow, efficiently lowering blood pressure and is a valuable alternative for patients who cannot tolerate ACE inhibitors.
Sartel-20 Tablet is used for managing high blood pressure (hypertension), reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes in individuals over 55. It also helps prevent complications related to hypertension and supports overall cardiovascular health.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.
Remember, it's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without discussing it with your doctor first.
Sartel-20 Tablet is taken orally.
Sartel-20 Tablet may cause headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, diarrhoea, hyperkalemia (elevated potassium levels), and angioedema (swelling under the skin). If these effects persist, seek medical advice.
