Ensure you use the Seroflo 125 Inhaler correctly with the following steps:

• Remove the cap from the inhaler mouthpiece.

• Shake the inhaler well before each spray.

• Breathe out fully, place your mouth over the mouthpiece, and press down on the inhaler as you start to breathe in slowly.

• Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.

Seroflo 125 Inhaler consists of two active ingredients:

• Fluticasone Propionate (125 mcg): As a synthetic corticosteroid, fluticasone propionate has potent anti-inflammatory properties. It acts by inhibiting various cell types and mediators that are involved in both allergic and non-allergic-mediated inflammation. This action results in a reduction in airway inflammation, hyper-responsiveness, and mucus production.

• Salmeterol (25 mcg): Classified as a selective, long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist, salmeterol produces bronchodilation by relaxing bronchial smooth muscle. This relaxation is achieved through stimulation of intracellular adenyl cyclase, which leads to an increase in cyclic-3',5'-adenosine monophosphate (cyclic AMP) levels. The increase in cyclic AMP results in the relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle and the inhibition of the release of immediate hypersensitivity mediators from cells, particularly mast cells.

• Store Seroflo 125 Inhaler in a cool and dry place, ideally at room temperature between 15-25°C.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat.

• Keep it discrete and out of reach from children.

• Aim to reduce exposure to allergens such as dust, pollen, and pet fur which might trigger asthma attacks. This might involve frequent cleaning, using air purifiers, or avoiding certain outdoor activities during pollen season.
