Seroflo Inhaler is used for the following health conditions:

• Long-term management of asthma symptoms in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above

• Control of asthma symptoms that aren't adequately managed by an inhaled corticosteroid alone

• Prevention of asthma symptoms such as wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and coughing.

Use Seroflo Inhaler as follows:

• Shake the inhaler well before using.

• After each inhalation, rinse your mouth with water without swallowing to minimise the risk of mouth or throat infections.

• Always have a short-acting inhaler ready for immediate use in case of sudden asthma symptoms.

• Consult your doctor for more specific advice on how to correctly use the inhaler.

Seroflo Inhaler is administered via an inhalation route.

Seroflo Inhaler contains two active ingredients that work together to provide long-term control of asthma symptoms:

• Fluticasone Propionate (50 MCG): This synthetic corticosteroid has potent anti-inflammatory effects in the airways. It reduces inflammation and swelling in the lungs, which makes the airways less sensitive to allergens and irritants that can trigger asthma symptoms.

• Salmeterol (25 MCG): This selective, long-acting beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist (LABA) relaxes the smooth muscles in the airways. This action keeps the airways open and makes breathing easier. The effects of salmeterol last for at least 12 hours.

• Keep your Seroflo Inhaler at room temperature, below 30°C.

• Ensure it is stored away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Remember to keep the inhaler out of reach of children.

• Once the foil pouch is opened, discard the inhaler after 12 months or when the dose indicator reads "0".

• Do not Freeze.

• As asthma can be triggered by allergens in food, try to identify and avoid any food items that may cause an allergic reaction or worsen your symptoms.

• Regular physical activity can improve lung function. However, ensure you warm up properly before starting exercise as sudden physical exertion might trigger asthma symptoms. Please consult your doctor for a suitable exercise routine.
