The Signoflam Spas Tablet is used for the following:

• Easing abdominal pain and cramps caused by muscle spasms in the gut.

• Managing symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

• Providing relief from biliary colic, a type of stomach pain.

• Reducing discomfort due to renal colic, a type of kidney pain.

• Alleviating dysmenorrhoea, which is painful menstruation.

• Helping with post-operative abdominal pain when the gut muscles spasm.

Here's how you should take the Signoflam Spas Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid breaking or chewing it.

• Always take this medicine alongside food.

• Try to take your doses at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in your body.

• Make sure not to exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Signoflam Spas Tablet is a combination of two active ingredients:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): As an NSAID, aceclofenac works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes in your body. These enzymes are responsible for producing prostaglandins, chemicals that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. By reducing prostaglandin synthesis, aceclofenac can help alleviate abdominal pain and inflammation.

• Drotaverine (80 mg): This antispasmodic medication works directly on smooth muscles in your gut. It inhibits an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4), which leads to higher levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) within cells. Increased cAMP prevents calcium from entering smooth muscle cells, leading to muscle relaxation. This action helps reduce gut muscle spasms and relieve abdominal cramps and pain.

• Store the Signoflam Spas Tablet in a dry place at room temperature, under 30°C.

• Do not expose the medicine to direct sunlight or moisture.

• Always ensure it is stored away from children's reach.
