Sorvate C Ointment is used to manage plaque psoriasis and eczema. It reduces redness and itching by slowing down the excessive growth of skin cells, providing relief from chronic inflammatory skin conditions in adults.

Here's how you should apply Sorvate C Ointment:

• Start by cleaning and drying the affected skin area properly.

• Apply a thin layer of the ointment using your fingertips or a clean cotton swab.

• Gently massage it into your skin until it's fully absorbed.

• Remember to wash your hands after applying, unless your hands are being treated.

• Avoid contact with healthy skin, eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. For specific advice, consult your doctor.

Sorvate C Ointment has two active ingredients at work:

• Calcitriol/Cholecalciferol (0.0003%): This is a synthetic form of Vitamin D3 known to regulate skin cell growth and differentiation. When dealing with psoriasis, skin cells tend to multiply too rapidly, leading to scaly patches on the skin surface. Calcitriol slows down this excessive cell growth, reducing scale formation.

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%): This potent corticosteroid has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic (anti-itch), and vasoconstrictive properties. It works against an overactive immune response seen in psoriasis conditions by reducing inflammation and itchiness, thereby helping alleviate discomfort from psoriatic lesions.

• Keep Sorvate C Ointment in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.
