Stator F Tablet is used to manage high cholesterol levels by lowering LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides while increasing HDL (good cholesterol). It is effective in treating mixed dyslipidemia, a condition in which both cholesterol and triglycerides are elevated, as well as severe hypertriglyceridemia where triglyceride levels are extremely high. This medicine is also used for children and adolescents with familial heterozygous hypercholesterolemia, a genetic disorder that causes significantly high cholesterol levels.

Follow these instructions while taking Stator F Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet

• Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first

Stator F Tablet is taken orally.

Stator F Tablet is a combination medicine with two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient belongs to the 'statin' class of medicines which work by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your body. This enzyme plays a crucial role in forming cholesterol in your body. By blocking this enzyme's activity, atorvastatin effectively reduces blood cholesterol levels.

• Fenofibrate (160 mg): This is part of the 'fibrate' class of medicines and works by activating a receptor in your body called PPARα. This receptor helps increase the breakdown and elimination of triglycerides from your blood, thus reducing overall triglyceride levels.

• Keep the Stator F Tablet at room temperature, ideally not above 30°C.

• Protect it from moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Store it in a place out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

• Check the expiry date on the pack and make sure you use it before that.

• Maintain a low-fat, high-fibre diet: Since Stator F Tablet manages high cholesterol levels, eating a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can help manage your condition. Limit your intake of saturated fats found in red meat and dairy products.

• Engage in moderate exercise for at least 30 minutes most days of the week. This helps lower your cholesterol levels and keep your heart healthy.
