Stiloz-100 Tablet is used to manage intermittent claudication, a condition caused by reduced blood flow to the legs. It improves circulation, reduces pain, cramping, and numbness during walking, increases walking distance, and enhances lower-limb mobility by widening blood vessels and reducing platelet aggregation.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Take the tablet on an empty stomach, at least half an hour before or two hours after meals.

• Maintain consistency by taking the medicine at the same times each day.

• Continue using this medicine even if symptoms don't improve immediately. It may take up to 12 weeks for the full benefits of Stiloz-100 Tablet to become apparent.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Stiloz-100 Tablet is taken orally.

Stiloz-100 Tablet contains cilostazol (100 mg), which impacts your body as follows:

• Inhibition of Phosphodiesterase III: Cilostazol works by blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase III in your body. This enzyme is involved in breaking down a substance known as cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP).

• Increase in cAMP levels: By inhibiting phosphodiesterase III, cilostazol effectively increases cAMP levels in the body.

• Vasodilation and reduced platelet aggregation: An increase in cAMP levels leads to widening of the blood vessels (vasodilation) and reduced clumping of platelets (platelet aggregation). These changes improve blood flow, particularly to peripheral arteries such as those supplying your legs.

• Reduction in ischemia and hypoxia: The improved circulation reduces conditions of insufficient oxygen supply (ischemia) and low oxygen levels (hypoxia) in your lower limbs, which are the underlying causes of discomfort in intermittent claudication.

• Store Stiloz-100 Tablet in a tightly sealed container.

• It should be kept at room temperature.

• The medicine must be protected from exposure to light, heat, and moisture.

• Always keep it out of the reach of children.

• Make sure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Since Stiloz-100 Tablet is used to manage intermittent claudication, engaging in regular gentle exercise, such as walking or cycling, may help improve blood circulation in your legs.

• Try to avoid foods high in saturated fats and cholesterol as they can contribute to peripheral artery disease. Opt instead for a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
