Increases Fungal Membrane Permeability: By preventing the synthesis of ergosterol, Itraconazole increases the permeability of the fungal membrane. This causes leakage of cellular contents leading to fungi cell death.
Clears Fungal Infections: The increased permeability and subsequent leakage culminate in arresting the growth of fungi thus helping clear up the infection caused by fungi.

Pregnancy

Syntran 200 Capsule is not recommended during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, make sure to discuss this with your doctor before starting this medicine.
