Taxim-O Forte Dry Syrup is used for the following:

• Managing respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia and bronchitis in children

• Handling ear, nose, and throat infections like otitis media, sinusitis, and tonsillitis in young patients

• Addressing urinary tract infections including cystitis and pyelonephritis in the paediatric population

• Controlling uncomplicated gonorrhoea involving the cervix or urethra in children

• Assisting in the management of typhoid fever in children

Administer Taxim-O Forte Dry Syrup to your child as follows:

• Shake the bottle well before use.

It achieves this by binding to certain proteins called penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) inside the bacterial cell wall. • Prevention of Bacterial Growth: By disrupting the cell wall structure, cefixime weakens the bacterial cells causing them to break open or 'lyse'. This prevents the bacteria from growing and multiplying further.
