• Controlling high blood pressure, particularly when a single medication has not been effective enough

• Preventing cardiovascular complications such as heart attacks and strokes in high-risk patients who are older than 55 and cannot take ACE inhibitors

Here's how you should take Telista-MCL 50 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush or break the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Ensure you do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without discussing it with your doctor first.

Telista-MCL 50 Tablet is taken orally.

Telista-MCL 50 Tablet works through a combination of active ingredients:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This component is a calcium channel blocker. It works by stopping calcium from entering certain cells in your heart and blood vessels. This action helps your blood vessels to relax and widen, reducing the amount of work your heart has to do.

• Metoprolol Succinate (50 mg): Classified as a beta-blocker, Metoprolol Succinate works mainly by slowing down your heart rate and reducing its workload. It also inhibits the release of renin, an enzyme produced by the kidneys that can increase blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): As an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), Telmisartan specifically targets and blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors. By doing this, it reduces the effects of angiotensin II, which is a potent vasoconstrictor. This leads to wider blood vessels and more efficient elimination of excess water and salt by the kidneys.
