Telma Am Tablet 30

Telma-AM Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of high blood pressure or hypertension

• Reducing the risk of heart attacks by controlling blood pressure

• Lowering the chance of strokes through efficient blood pressure control

Here are some instructions while taking Telma-AM Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take your medicine at the same time each day to help you remember.

• Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly, even if you feel well. Consult your doctor first.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Telma-AM Tablet is taken orally.

Telma-AM Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Classified as an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes your blood vessels to constrict or tighten. By preventing this constriction, Telmisartan helps your blood vessels relax and widen, further contributing to lowering your blood pressure.

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This is a calcium channel blocker. Its primary function is to relax the smooth muscles in your blood vessel walls, leading to wider vessels and improved blood flow. By doing so, Amlodipine reduces the workload on your heart and lowers your blood pressure.

• Store Telma-AM Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Always remember to keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Make sure you use the tablet before its expiry date for maximum effectiveness.

• Limit your salt intake: High sodium levels can raise blood pressure, so monitoring your diet can aid in managing hypertension, the condition Telma-AM Tablet is primarily used to manage.
