CompositionTelmikind Beta 25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure in adults and to lower the long-term risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney damage. It controls blood pressure and heart rate together.
It contains telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker that relaxes the blood vessels, and metoprolol, a beta-blocker that slows the heart rate.
Take it with food at the same time each day, and do not stop it suddenly, as the beta-blocker part must be reduced gradually.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any asthma, a slow heart rate, kidney problems or diabetes before use, as the metoprolol part can affect these. Rise slowly to reduce dizziness.
