Telmiride AM Tablet is beneficial for managing the following health conditions:

• Controlling high blood pressure levels

• Reduction of cardiovascular event risks in patients aged 55 or older with a high likelihood of major cardiovascular event development

• Management of hypertension, either as a standalone medication or in combination with other antihypertensive medicines

Here are the steps to follow while consuming Telmiride AM Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Refrain from crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Always remember not to alter the dosage without consulting your doctor.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often shows no symptoms.

• Don't stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Telmiride AM Tablet is taken orally.

Telmiride AM Tablet contains two key components:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): It works by blocking the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle. This action leads to the widening of blood vessels (vasodilation), which subsequently reduces peripheral vascular resistance and decreases blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component selectively prevents angiotensin II from binding to receptors in vascular smooth muscle. In doing so, it inhibits the effects of angiotensin II that cause narrowing of blood vessels and the secretion of aldosterone, a hormone that can raise blood pressure.

These two ingredients work together to effectively manage hypertension by relaxing and widening blood vessels, resulting in lower blood pressure.

• Store Telmiride AM Tablet in a cool place, ideally not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture.

• Always ensure the tablets are stored safely out of reach of children.
