Telplus Tablet is a blend of two active ingredients:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component falls into the category of angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). Its job is to attach itself selectively to certain receptors known as AT1 receptors. The result is a reduction in the effects of angiotensin II, a substance in your body that can raise blood pressure levels by causing blood vessels to tighten up or become narrower.

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Recognised as a calcium channel blocker, cilnidipine functions by obstructing both L-type and N-type calcium channels in certain parts of your body like vascular smooth muscles and neurons. By doing so, it reduces the influx of calcium leading to vasodilation – a process that helps widen your blood vessels thereby reducing blood pressure.

• Store Telplus Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally below 25°C.
