Telpres CT 40/12.5 Tablet is employed for the following health conditions:

• Managing high blood pressure or hypertension that is not sufficiently controlled by single-medicine therapy.

• Reducing the burden on the heart and enhancing blood circulation.

• Preventing serious complications such as heart attack, stroke, kidney diseases and vision loss related to uncontrolled high blood pressure.

To administer Telpres CT 40/12.5 Tablet correctly, follow these guidelines:

• The tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.

• Refrain from crushing, chewing or dividing the tablet.

• To maintain consistent medication levels in your body, take the tablet at the same time each day, preferably in the morning.

• Before removing the tablet from its blister pack, ensure your hands are clean to prevent contamination.

Telpres CT 40/12.5 Tablet is taken orally.

Telpres CT 40/12.5 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II which narrows blood vessels, causing high blood pressure. By blocking this hormone, telmisartan helps relax and widen your blood vessels.
