Telsar Beta 25 Tablet 10

Telsar Beta 40/25 Tablet is used in adults with hypertension for dual-pathway blood pressure control through telmisartan's angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and metoprolol's beta-blockade.

Uses of Telsar Beta 40/25 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Combines telmisartan's blood vessel relaxation and metoprolol's heart rate and output reduction for sustained blood pressure control.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Helps reduce cardiovascular risk through sustained blood pressure control.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• You can take it with or without food.

• It's important to continue taking this medicine as long as your doctor recommends. Do not discontinue without consulting your doctor first.

Telsar Beta 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Telsar Beta 25 Tablet comprises two active ingredients:

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): This is a beta-blocker that works by blocking beta-1 adrenergic receptors located in your heart and blood vessels. By doing this, it slows down your heartbeat and reduces the force with which your heart pumps blood around your body. This effectively lowers your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It functions by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II which usually causes your blood vessels to narrow.
