Telvas-3D 80 Tablet is used in adults with resistant or poorly controlled high blood pressure to achieve target blood pressure levels and reduce cardiovascular risks.

• Resistant Hypertension: Lowers blood pressure when treatment with one or two medicines is insufficient.

• Telmisartan (80 mg): Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It selectively blocks the activity of the angiotensin II enzyme in your body. This action prevents vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels), thus relaxing the blood vessels and decreasing blood pressure.
• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): Classified as a thiazide diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide increases the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water by your kidneys. This action reduces blood volume, which ultimately decreases your blood pressure.
• Amlodipine (5 mg): This is a calcium channel blocker. It works by reducing the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells. This leads to relaxation of the blood vessels, which consequently lowers your blood pressure.
