Telvas-3D 80 Tablet is used in adults with resistant or poorly controlled high blood pressure to achieve better control through three medicines together.

Uses of Telvas-3D 80 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control raised blood pressure when one or two medicines are insufficient.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular complications.
• Kidney Protection: Helps guard against kidney problems caused by uncontrolled hypertension.

• The tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.

Telvas-3D 80 Tablet works in the human body in the following ways:

• Telmisartan (80 mg): Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It selectively blocks the activity of the angiotensin II enzyme in your body. This action prevents vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels), thus relaxing the blood vessels and decreasing blood pressure.
• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): Classified as a thiazide diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide increases the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water by your kidneys. This action reduces blood volume, which ultimately decreases your blood pressure.
• Amlodipine (5 mg): This is a calcium channel blocker. It works by reducing the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells. This leads to relaxation of the blood vessels, which consequently lowers your blood pressure.
