CompositionTelvas Beta 50 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure in adults and to support heart health. By controlling blood pressure and heart rate together, it helps lower the long-term risk of stroke and heart failure.
It contains telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker that relaxes the blood vessels, and metoprolol, a beta-blocker that slows the heart rate and reduces its workload.
Take it at the same time each day, and do not stop it suddenly, as stopping a beta-blocker abruptly can worsen heart problems.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any asthma, a slow heart rate, kidney problems or diabetes before use. Rise slowly to reduce dizziness, and report cold hands and feet or a very slow heartbeat.
