CompositionTenacid-MF Tablet is used to treat heavy menstrual bleeding and menstrual pain. It helps reduce excessive blood loss and eases cramps, and it also relieves mild to moderate pain from other causes such as headaches, dental pain and muscle aches.
It contains tranexamic acid, which reduces heavy bleeding by helping blood clots hold, and mefenamic acid, an anti-inflammatory painkiller that eases pain and cramps.
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed. For heavy periods it is usually taken during the days of active bleeding.
Tell your doctor about any history of blood clots or kidney problems before starting.
