Tiova Inhaler 200mdi

Tiova Inhaler is used to manage COPD, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It improves airflow and helps manage long-term breathing difficulties in patients with COPD.

For effective use of Tiova Inhaler, follow these instructions:

• Prime the inhaler before the first use, as per the instructions provided.
• Administer two inhalations once daily. For adequate dosage, consult your doctor.
• Clean the inhaler on a regular basis to ensure optimal medicine delivery.

Tiova Inhaler is administered via inhalation.

Tiova Inhaler contains Tiotropium (0.009 mg). It acts on the body via the following mechanisms:

• Antimuscarinic agent: Tiotropium is a long-acting, antimuscarinic agent. This means that it works by blocking certain types of nerve signals in your body. In particular, it blocks the action of acetylcholine on M3 receptors, which are found on smooth muscle cells in your airways.
• Bronchodilation: By inhibiting the action of acetylcholine on M3 receptors, Tiotropium causes relaxation of the airways, a process known as bronchodilation. This helps to reduce airflow obstruction and hyperinflation, thereby improving your breathing capacity.
• Symptom reduction: The bronchodilation effect of tiotropium also leads to a reduction in COPD symptoms, helping to improve your quality of life.

• Always store your Tiova Inhaler at room temperature, between 15°C to 25°C. Do not freeze.
• Please keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• It's best to keep this inhaler out of reach of children, as it's meant for adult use only.
• Be sure to use the inhaler before the expiry date mentioned on its packaging.

• If you're living with COPD or asthma, it's advisable to avoid exposure to dust, smoke or any allergens that could trigger your symptoms. This includes staying indoors on days when air pollution levels are high.
• Maintain a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains. These foods are loaded with antioxidants which can help improve lung health and enhance your body's ability to fight off infections.
