Tolpa-D Tablet is a combination medicine used for the short-term treatment of acute pain, swelling, and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, soft tissue injuries, dental pain, and post-operative conditions.
It contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down inflammatory proteins to help reduce swelling. Take it with food as prescribed by your doctor to minimise stomach discomfort. Continue taking it for the duration advised, but avoid long-term use unless directed by your doctor.
Resting the affected area, applying cold or warm compresses as appropriate, and avoiding excessive physical strain can aid recovery alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, asthma, kidney or liver disease, or heart conditions. It is not recommended during pregnancy (especially the third trimester) or breastfeeding. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice black tarry stools, severe stomach pain, or unusual bleeding.
