CompositionTonact-ASP 20/75 Capsule is used to manage high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with cardiovascular disease or multiple risk factors. It is a combination medicine containing atorvastatin (a statin) and aspirin (an antiplatelet).
It also helps prevent blood clots and protects the heart over the long term. Take it, generally in the evening, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it even when your cholesterol levels look normal.
Choose a diet low in saturated fat, with less ghee, butter and fried snacks, exercise regularly, avoid smoking and keep to a healthy weight. Avoid cuts and injuries, as bleeding may take longer to stop.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver problems, a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding disorders, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report unusual muscle pain, unexplained bleeding or black stools right away. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
