Trapic 650 Tablet is used in the management of the following health conditions:

• Control of heavy menstrual bleeding

• Reduction of nosebleeds

• Decrease in bleeding during and after dental procedures, especially in people with bleeding disorders

• Minimising blood loss after prostate, bladder, or cervical surgery

• Management of hereditary angioedema, a rare disorder causing body swelling

To use Trapic 650 Tablet correctly, please follow these steps:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• This medicine can be taken with or without food.

• Start taking this medicine on the first day of your menstrual period if used for heavy menstrual bleeding.

• Always follow your doctor's advice regarding the use of this medication.

Trapic 650 Tablet is taken orally.

Trapic 650 Tablet contains tranexamic acid (650 mg) and it works on your body as follows:

• Inhibition of Plasmin Enzyme: Tranexamic acid inhibits plasmin, an enzyme in your body that breaks down fibrin clots.

• Stabilisation of Blood Clots: By preventing the breakdown of fibrin clots, tranexamic acid helps stabilise them and reduce bleeding. This mechanism is particularly effective when excessive bleeding occurs due to increased fibrinolytic activity.

• Keep Trapic 650 Tablet in a cool, dry place.

• Avoid exposing the medicine to direct sunlight or moisture.

• Ensure it is out of reach from children and pets.

• Always remember to use the medicine before its expiry date for maximum effectiveness.

• To help manage heavy menstrual bleeding, maintain a balanced diet rich in iron and vitamin C. These nutrients support blood production and can help replenish your body after periods of heavy bleeding.

• For conditions like nosebleeds, try to keep your nose moist by using a saline nasal spray or applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly inside your nostrils. Dry air can cause nosebleeds, so maintaining humidity in your living environment can also be beneficial.
