Urimax D Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH) in men. It combines two medicines: one relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck to ease urine flow, and the other lowers the level of a hormone (dihydrotestosterone) that drives prostate growth.
It relieves urinary symptoms such as a weak flow, difficulty starting to urinate, and a frequent or urgent need to urinate, including at night. It is taken by mouth as prescribed, and works best when taken consistently over time.
Because it can cause dizziness or a drop in blood pressure when starting, stand up slowly and take care with driving until you know how it affects you.
Before starting, tell your doctor about any other conditions or medicines you take. Tell your doctor if you experience dizziness or a sudden drop in blood pressure.
