Ventocore DL Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing symptoms of bronchospasm, which causes narrowing of the airways.

• Preventing the symptoms of asthma, including those that occur at night and early in the morning.

• Serving as a maintenance therapy for asthma in patients who have previously been stabilised on acebrophylline.

• Providing symptomatic relief for seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. This includes issues like sneezing, a runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes due to allergies.

• Acting as an add-on therapy for those suffering from asthma not adequately controlled by inhaled corticosteroids.

Here's how you should take Ventocore DL Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

Ventocore DL Tablet consists of three active components:

• Acebrophylline (200 mg): This bronchodilator works by relaxing the muscles in your lungs and chest. It does this by increasing the levels of a substance called cyclic AMP inside your cells, which reduces inflammation and hyperreactivity in the airways. Acebrophylline also has properties that help improve mucus clearance.

• Desloratadine (5 mg): This non-sedating antihistamine works by blocking certain receptors in your body called histamine H1 receptors. When these receptors are blocked, symptoms caused by allergies such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, and red eyes are prevented. Desloratadine also has anti-inflammatory effects.

• Montelukast (10 mg): This anti-leukotriene agent works by blocking substances in your body called leukotrienes that cause inflammation and constrict your airways. By blocking these substances, Montelukast reduces inflammation and prevents asthma symptoms.

The combination of these three components ensures consistent therapeutic effects for a period of 24 hours.
