CompositionVepan 500 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections of the throat, lungs, urinary tract and skin, including tonsillitis, pharyngitis and cystitis. It helps relieve symptoms such as fever, pain and inflammation by clearing the bacteria causing the illness.
It contains cefadroxil, a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that stops bacteria from building their cell wall, causing them to die. Take it as prescribed, with or without food, and complete the full course.
Drinking plenty of fluids, eating a balanced diet and getting adequate rest can help your body recover fully during treatment.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of penicillin allergy or kidney disease before starting. Report any rash, severe diarrhoea or difficulty breathing to your doctor promptly.
