Vomilast Tablet 10

Vomilast Tablet is used: 

• To manage nausea and vomiting during pregnancy when conservative treatment doesn’t work

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Vomilast Tablet contains the following ingredients:

• Doxylamine succinate (10 mg): It is an antihistamine that blocks histamine's action and mitigates nausea and vomiting signals in the central nervous system.
• Pyridoxine hydrochloride (10 mg): It is a form of vitamin B6 that participates in neurotransmitter synthesis, including serotonin. Modulation of serotonin levels may influence the regulation of nausea and vomiting.
• Folic acid (2.5 mg): It is a synthetic form of vitamin B9 and helps correct vitamin deficiency during pregnancy.

• Vomilast Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Maintain a nutritious diet to promote overall health and reduce the likelihood of nausea and vomiting.
• Refrain from consuming greasy or oily foods, known triggers for nausea and vomiting.
• Opt for cooler foods over hot and spicy options, incorporating clear broths, non-fat yoghurt, fruit juice, sherbet, and sports drinks to replenish lost fluids from vomiting.
• Enhance fluid intake with cool beverages such as clear soup, flavoured gelatin, and carbonated drinks. 
• When drinking, sip slowly to prevent swallowing air, which can contribute to gas and acidity. These dietary choices can help manage nausea and vomiting effectively.
