Winolap Eye Drops is a medicine used to provide relief from the symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis. It helps alleviate symptoms such as persistent eye itching, burning, redness, excessive watering, and eyelid swelling.
It contains olopatadine, which belongs to a group of medicines known as mast cell stabilisers and antihistamines. It acts through a dual mechanism by blocking histamine receptors and stabilising mast cells to prevent the release of inflammatory chemicals triggered by environmental allergens.
Identifying and minimizing contact with environmental triggers forms an important aspect of long-term allergy care. Try to avoid high-exposure situations involving plant pollens, dust mites, animal dander, or strong chemical irritants that disrupt your eye comfort.
Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any chronic eye disorders or are using other ophthalmic drops. To prevent contamination, avoid touching the dropper tip to your eyelashes or eye surface, and wait at least fifteen minutes after instillation before reinserting contact lenses.
