CompositionZempred 8 Tablet is a corticosteroid used to manage inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, including severe allergies, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, and certain skin, eye, blood and bowel conditions, by calming an overactive immune system.
It contains methylprednisolone. It works by reducing the release of the chemicals that cause inflammation and allergic reactions.
Take it at the same time each day as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly, as the dose usually needs to be reduced gradually to avoid withdrawal effects.
Tell your doctor about any infection, diabetes or high blood pressure before use. Longer use can raise the risk of infection, blood pressure and blood sugar. Report signs of infection or mood changes.
