Zita-Met Plus Tablet is used for the following:

You should use the Zita-Met Plus Tablet as follows:

• Teneligliptin (20 mg): Classified as a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, teneligliptin functions by increasing the levels of incretins. Incretins are natural substances produced by your intestine that stimulate the pancreas to secrete more insulin when there is an increase in blood glucose levels. Teneligliptin achieves this by inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme, which breaks down incretins, thereby prolonging their activity and ensuring better blood glucose control.

The combined mechanisms of metformin and teneligliptin provide an enhanced effect in lowering blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.
