Zitblow 10 Capsule is used for:

• Managing severe nodular acne: This is a type of acne that involves inflamed, painful lesions on the skin that are more than 5 mm in diameter.

• Addressing acne that doesn't respond to other treatments: This includes cases where antibiotics and other conventional therapies have failed to bring about improvement.

• Reducing sebum production: Sebum is an oily substance produced by the skin which can contribute to acne.

• Altering the characteristics of skin oil: By changing the properties of the skin's oil, it can help reduce acne.

• Preventing abnormal hardening of hair follicles: By doing so, it can help prevent the formation of acne.

To use Zitblow 10 Capsule correctly:

• Always take this medicine with food. This helps to increase its absorption and effectiveness.

• Swallow the capsule whole. Avoid crushing, chewing, or sucking on it.

• Drink a full glass of liquid after taking each capsule. This helps to ensure that the medicine doesn't irritate your oesophagus.

Zitblow 10 Capsule is taken orally.

Zitblow 10 Capsule contains isotretinoin (10 mg) and works on your body in the following ways:

• Reduces sebum production: Isotretinoin significantly diminishes the size and output of sebaceous (oil) glands in your skin. This helps reduce the amount of skin oil produced, though the exact mechanism for this is yet unknown.

• Prevents abnormal hardening: The medicine changes the characteristics of skin oil and prevents abnormal hardening of hair follicles in your skin.

• Reduces inflammation: Isotretinoin decreases keratinization (the process by which cells from underneath the skin are converted to hair and nails) of the follicles and reduces inflammation levels.

• Alters immune system: The medicine also brings changes to your skin's immune system, thereby managing severe acne effectively.

• Store Zitblow 10 Capsule at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medication in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure that the medicine is out of the reach of children.
