Zoryl-1 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults, controlling blood sugar to lower the long-term risk of complications such as kidney and nerve damage, on its own or with other diabetes medicines.
It contains glimepiride, a sulfonylurea. It works by helping the pancreas release more insulin, which lowers blood sugar.
Take it with or just before your main meal as prescribed, and do not skip meals, as this can cause low blood sugar. Carry a fast-acting sugar source.
Tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems before use. Learn to recognise and treat the signs of low blood sugar, such as dizziness, sweating and shakiness.
