Zytee-L Gel is used for managing the following conditions:

• Alleviating discomfort associated with mouth ulcers

• Controlling discomfort from sores appearing on inner cheeks, tongue, and lips

Here's how to use Zytee-L Gel effectively:

• Ensure your hands are clean before applying the gel.

• Apply the prescribed amount of gel directly onto your mouth ulcer or sore using a clean finger.

• Gently massage the gel onto the affected area, covering it completely.

• Try to avoid eating or drinking immediately after application, allowing the gel to work undisturbed.

Zytee-L Gel is applied topically.

Zytee-L Gel consists of three active ingredients:

• Choline salicylate (9%): As an NSAID, choline salicylate inhibits the production and release of prostaglandins, chemicals responsible for causing pain and inflammation in the body. By reducing prostaglandin levels, choline salicylate helps decrease redness, swelling, and discomfort associated with mouth ulcers.

• Lidocaine hydrochloride (2%): As a local anaesthetic, lidocaine acts by blocking nerve signals that transmit pain sensations from the site of application to your brain. This numbing effect offers immediate relief from burning and stinging sensations often associated with mouth ulcers, making it easier for you to eat, drink, and speak comfortably.

• Benzalkonium chloride (0.02%): This is an antiseptic component that can kill germs like bacteria and some viruses. It works by affecting the outer layer of bacteria, leading to cell leakage. It also deactivates molecular enzymes in the bacteria, disrupting critical biochemical systems necessary for bacterial function.

• Store Zytee-L Gel in its original container, tightly sealed.

• Keep it at room temperature, in a cool, dry place.

• Protect the gel from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.

• Always ensure it is out of reach of children.

• Since this gel manages mouth ulcers, try to avoid spicy and acidic foods. These can irritate ulcers, causing discomfort and potentially prolonging healing time.

• Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth regularly and using a soft-bristled toothbrush. This can help prevent mouth ulcers from developing or worsening.
