Ketoscore 6 Cream 15gm is used to treat mixed skin infections that involve fungus, bacteria and inflammation together. It is a combination medicine containing a corticosteroid, antifungal and antibacterial agents, along with a skin-soothing ingredient.
The cream contains clobetasol propionate, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, together with ketoconazole, tolnaftate and iodochlorhydroxyquinoline (antifungal agents), neomycin (an antibiotic) and dexpanthenol (a skin-conditioning agent). Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed, and wash your hands before and after use.
Keeping the affected skin clean and dry, avoiding tight or occlusive clothing over the area, and changing out of damp clothes promptly can help, since fungal infections thrive in moist conditions.
Tell your doctor if you have any known allergies to its ingredients or a history of skin thinning from steroid use. Avoid applying it to broken skin, the eyes or open wounds unless advised. Report worsening redness, spreading infection or unusual skin changes to your doctor. Do not stop using the cream suddenly without your doctor's advice.
