Composition

Glipizide (2.5 Mg) + Metformin (250 Mg)

Glimet Tablet 10 is used to manage type 2 diabetes. It is a combination antidiabetic medicine containing glipizide and metformin.

This medicine helps lower high blood glucose levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. It also supports consistent daily blood sugar control when combined with proper diet and exercise. It also reduces the risk of long-term complications affecting the kidneys, eyes, nerves, and heart.

Regular meals, a balanced diet and physical activity can support blood sugar control alongside this medicine.

Before starting, tell your doctor about your medical conditions and allergies. Tell the doctor about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid crushing, breaking, or chewing the tablet.
Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Glimet Tablet is taken orally.

Glimet Tablet 10 may cause some side effects that are usually mild and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine.

A few common side effects of Glimet Tablet 10:

Low blood sugar: hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar), with dizziness or faintness. Keep a sugary food or.
Digestive: feeling sick (nausea), vomiting, stomach pain, flatulence, and indigestion.
