CompositionIsryl M2 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults when blood sugar is not controlled by diet, exercise or a single medicine. It is a combination medicine containing glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) and metformin (a biguanide).
Better blood sugar control helps reduce the long-term risk of kidney, nerve and eye problems. Take it with food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and do not skip meals.

Before starting, tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems or regular alcohol use, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Learn the signs of low blood sugar. Seek urgent help for severe muscle pain, difficulty breathing or feeling very unwell, which can rarely signal lactic acidosis. Your doctor may check your vitamin B12 level with long-term use. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
