Istamet D-XR 500 Tablet is used in the management for the following:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water during your evening meal.

Istamet D-XR 500 Tablet works through a combination of active ingredients:

• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): As a sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, dapagliflozin blocks glucose reabsorption in the kidneys, leading to increased urinary glucose excretion and decreased blood sugar levels.

• Sitagliptin (100 mg): Sitagliptin belongs to the class of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors.
