CompositionZucapride-10 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults by supporting blood sugar control. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing dapagliflozin, and belongs to a class of medicines called SGLT2 inhibitors.
This medicine also helps reduce the risk of heart failure hospitalisation and protects kidney health in people with diabetes. Take this tablet as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Continue taking it regularly as advised, as stopping suddenly may lead to uncontrolled blood sugar spikes. Use the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Eating balanced meals, managing carbohydrate intake, staying active, maintaining adequate hydration and practising good genital hygiene support diabetes care and help reduce infection risk alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, low blood pressure or recurrent urinary or genital infections before starting this medicine, and about any other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Speak to your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe abdominal pain, vomiting or unusual extreme weakness, and report any side effects that persist or become serious. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
